HOLLYWOOD TO MAKE 30 ANTI-IRANIAN MOVIES

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Hassan Qashqavi, has said that Hollywood film makers have thirty anti-Iranian movies in the offing. "Hollywood has thirty anti-Iranian movies in the offing with the subject of hostility towards Iran's historical and Islamic identity," Qashqavi told reporters at a weekly news conference in Tehran on Monday.

"The subject of making various movies has directly targeted not only Iran's religious and historical identity but also the country's social values including hospitality in an attempt to show hostility towards the Islamic Republic," he added. "There are certain political objectives behind a number of movies under the pretext of creating art," he explained.

The controversial anti-Iranian Hollywood film '300', made by Zack Snyder, is an example of such films. 300 was severely criticized due to its historically inaccurate version of the events described in the movie. Persians in the film are also depicted as ugly and violent creatures rather than realistic human beings.

The Iranian government has protested the film; last Wednesday President Ahmadinejad in his Iranian New Year’s address called it part of a “psychological warfare” campaign against his country. Javadd Shamaqdare, a cultural advisor to the Iranian government, also denounced the film as “psychological warfare,” accusing its producers of “plundering Iran’s historic past and insulting its civilization”

Editors of the Iranian newspaper Ayandeh-No declared that the film “seeks to tell people that Iran, which is in the Axis of Evil now, has long been the source of evil and modern Iranians’ ancestors are the dumb, murderous savages you see in ‘300’.” Iran’s UN mission has stated that the film is “so overtly racist, so overflowing with vicious stereotyping of Persians as a dangerous, bestial force fatally threatening the civilized ‘free’ world”, that it encourages “contemporary discourses of hatred … [and] a ‘clash of civilizations’.

Many historians called the Hollywood film an imprecise narration of history and say the film was politically motivated and have echoed Iranian objections. Dimitris Danikas notes that 300 depicts Persians as “bloodthirsty, underdeveloped zombies” and feeds “racist instincts in Europe and America.”

Slate’s Dana Stevens calls it “a textbook example of how race-baiting fantasy and nationalist myth can serve as an incitement to total war.”

So be prepared. he demonizing of the Arab has been going on in Hollywood for 80 years now so these shots being leveled at Iranians is not all that different. In the 30's and 40's it was the Germans' turn. Now it is Iran, the current military target that is under Hollywood's gun. This fits in perfectly with the Zionist and the PNAC (Project for the New American Century) agendas.

The Series below gives a detailed description of how Hollywood has demonized the Arab for many decades. What you see here, was done for a short time with the Germans, also with the Black people, Chinese, Native Americans, basically any culture the imperialists wanted to put in the "bad guy" position. This made it much easier to sell a war or what would normally be unacceptable, to the gullible populace.
